For the last 2-odd years i've been a happy H320 owner...but then it died. so today i got myself a 30gb X5L which is basically the closest replacement. Rockbox played a huge role in my choice of the X5 over anything else (big time Rockbox user on my H320). I know the X7 shouldn't be all that too far away... but if it ain't broke, dont fix it, and from what i can tell the X5 should work for me. [thumbsup]
The X5 is one of, if not the best, music players available. It does exactly what it is made to do. A lot of players these days come with things that you really don't need but the X5 does everything right. Sleek looking design, simple GUi (even though you said you've replaced with rockbox :P ).
And also, welcome to the Cowon family :) lol. Once you go Cowon, you never go back.

Untrue unofrtunately, lol. I jumped from away from Cowon because I was unhappy with the X5 I recieved (being broken straight away and the box being rubbish from protecting the player) and sent it back. Also, the ebay shop who I sent it back to waited 3 weeks for Cowon to get that player repaired and after then, I never came back. So my excitement for the X5 was deflated and I decided to go elsewhere.
I'm not saying the X5 is a bad product and well done for your purchase. Apple is the new home for my MP3 player with the Nano 2nd Gen. I don't regret the purchase. I won't go on about it as I know some are well against iPods here ;).
Otherwise, I do still use my M3 from time to time :).
I don't think that's anything against Cowon themselves, I'd say that's a problem with a dodgy eBay Seller.
Hey, welcome aboard munky. I remember you from my time over at Misticriver... nice to see you again. [smile]
