If you want the admin(s) to do something with a thread then PM them, don't assume they''re going to read all the threads looking for requests, coz it won't happen.
... as Donagio told you in the First thread in the 'Please read this before posting' section, at
http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/index.php
You did read that before posting, didn't you?

Wouldnt put money on it [toungue]
But yeah that is quite a useful faq many people have these problems good to have the answers in one place.

Agreed... More moderators would be nice
More moderators...to what end?
I think I'm at least aware of if not actively reading 75%+ of everything posted to the boards. People generally seem to be behaving themselves, and the forums seem, at least to me, to be relatively well-maintained. Though of course there's going to be bias in my perspective.
In any case, this is off-topic, so I'd ask that responses to this be handled via PM or by starting a new thread.
BTW, I never did get any requests to stick this thread via proper channels. One could logically conclude, therefore, that nobody paying attention to this thread has enough of a vested interest to spend the 10 seconds pursuing the matter through proper channels.
Yes, I'm still annoyed that people aren't actually looking at the forum discussing this website (which would have the little things like rules/policies outlined within).

Was pondering this for alittle and may take a hands on approach with this when I get home to dig into it. While I would think that it would be a handicap when wanting to access JetEffects, at least you'll have some playlist control (i think).
Wish I knew Flash programming to see if one can be custom made but if there's one already out there who else is willing to give it a try? [thumbsup]
[thumbdwn] [thumbdwn] ....
@seifip: i hope that COWON release a new firmware with a newer version of flashlite so that u can develope ur calc without the bugs caused with the current firmware flashlite version... [rolleyes]

+1
I'd like to know too, but I think it depends on if it's an audio based flash or not, and if it has lots of movement or not
As well as if it's a large file (or not).

From my experience its like in movie mode maybe 12 hours. The screen is always on so flash takes a lot of energy.
I have two questions.
Does it seem that in flash the "MouseMove" response for the D2 is very slow?
For example try _root.onMouseMove = function () { trace "moving" }
Second, and I know this might sound dumb at first, but has anyone found a way to load an mp3 (possibly from the device's music directory) into flash. I have an application in mind for this but my attempts have failed.

what exactly is it ment by that?

To import an mp3 into flash (the application), select File > Import > Import to Library

How do you download flash games/apps? There is no problem opening them in the browser, but cant figure out how to download them :$
D2-DAB-8GB FLASH NEWBIE! Please can anyone provide some links or names of Apps showing examples of Flash Apps, games and files that are compatible with D2 DAB 8GB if any :/ as the Themes do not work I'm not getting my hopes up . I used to play with Flash .swf files? will these work? I did not see them mentioned in the 1st post. thanks! :)
Most .swf - Files should work, if they do not need internet access and resize to the D2s screen size. Just try it, you can't mess up anything.
Many flash game sites just embed the games into the site. I haven't found out how to extract these yet. But there are also some sites which offer a download option to save the swf file to hard disk. You can also save them, if just the plain swf file has been opened by your browser (e.g. for fullscreen). In this case, the path to the swf file should appear in the address bar of your browser.
There are links to some flash games in this forum. Just use the search function and you will find them.
Thank you! Now using my D2-DAB using Korean Firmware v1.55 with Flash Support, the thing is are there any finished flash themes that utilize the DAB radio?
I have a collection of themes that work with v4.54 but these are themes not flash .swf skins. anyway I need to post them up with a link to Finished Themes
