Okay ive searched the forum and haven't found this. So i feel stupid.

I've been good about updating firmware, have relatively no problems, no what im doing.

I've NEVER got the dictionary to work! when i open it it gives me the message of the like:
"No font file found."
or "Font File Failed."

:( How do i fix this? its probally really simple sorry

Its all good man, all you have to do is download the dictionary itself and install it, there are two versions, the "Full" (http://dn.cowon.com/download/d2_dic/PowerDic_Full.zip) version and the "Lite" (http://dn.cowon.com/download/d2_dic/PowerDic_Lite.zip) version 400mb and 20mb respectively

hahahaha .. funny! You made my day! [rofl]

I think it's worth saying that you savely can go with the lite version unless you want to translate between ENG-KOR and KOR-ENG. As far as i can tell, if you stay with ENG-ENG dictionary it won't make sense to grab the full version since the only additional feature is the engl. audio pronunciation that simply won't work in ENG-ENG (dunno why, seems stupid to me, i would very much like to get the engl. pronunciation even in ENG-ENG dict.). So save some internal memory and get the lite dict. database.

Yeah, me too. It wouldn't be hard for Cowon to make this happen.

2neoxerxes: Actually it would... They certainly have some agreements with the authors of these dictionaries and they would probably have to pay one more time to use pronounciation files in the Chambers dictionary

One thing they should do is change the error message from "Font file not found" to "Dictionary files not found. To use the dictionary visit www.[dictionary download page address] and follow the instructions there" or similar.

Congrats W33nie, you just earned yourself a one day ban for Flaming.

Versatyle07 - The next time you want to post to a thread that's more than a month old, please say something more substantial. The only reason I'm not summarily deleting your post is because of W33nie's response, which in turn led to mine.
