Songs Skipping/Switching

Sometimes when I'm playing songs, the song will cut off in the middle, and restart as a different one. This will last for about a minute, and then it will revert back to the original song and play for the rest of it's duration.

I have no idea what's going on, is there anyway I can fix it?

Check that the sogns that are skipping are in a proper format recognized by the X5. Skipping is usually a sign that the format is incorrect or the music file may be copy-protected (DRM). If you can convert a song in your music library that was ripped from a CD and converted into an mp3 file, and it plays fine, you should suspect that skipping songs are not encoded properly, are copy-protected or, possible, corrupted.
