I was speaking to the owner of my local computer shop and he claimed that all the cheaper 4 gig SD cards actually contain 2 x 2 gig chips. He claimed that they have been shown to be much less reliable than SD cards which contain one single 4 gig chip. He said "go ahead and buy the cheaper ones, but they have a much higher fail rate and just aren't worth it". I don't know enough to know if he's just trying to sell the more expensive cards. Anyone know more about this?
