well,
i bought my D2 at Advancemp3players in the uk, and gut my 4gb Datawrite card, a few months down the road, the D2 still detects the card, but some SD card readers had problems with it, i noticed one of the plastic falanges between the connectors was sticking out, i removed it, but then i noticed the card itself was cracked, im basicly holding it in the D2 untill i can replace it,

so basicly the question is, am i a brute or are these cards really fragile ?

These cards are garbage and much thicker than most cards so you may have damaged it when you were trying out readers however I wouldn't rule out crappy manufacturing.

Doesn't seem any thicker than others to me... it's identical as far as i can tell. I'm sure it's not the highest quality card but it seems ok - it's hard to differentiate sd cards on physical build quality because they're so simple! You're probably just a brute!

Some memory card readers have problems with it because it's a non-hc sd 4gb, which is outside the official specs of the SD card i believe. It works in the D2, my laptop and my old crappy mp3 player, but not in my printer for example. I hope it doesn't fall apart on me - i plan to use it until 16gb cards become affordable ;)
