I disconnect end connected again toutch pad , clean connection and nothing.
I am very sorry but I have a hard time understanding what you are writing. Did you mean you disconnected and connected the touch pad and it didn't work or something else entirely.

Have you tried resetting the D2 to the factory default Setting?
It is on page 20, Additional Information of the manual.
Maybe it will also recalibrate the touch screen when you power it back on after resetting it to the Factory Settings.
setting it to factory defaults doesn't work for me, i did as the manual told me too but when i booted the language selection screen didn't come up. i have changed firmware from 2.46 to 3.50b but nothing has changed
sounds like a damaged screen to me. I just painted the whole screen black in notepad, not a single pixel missed. If I had your problem with the screen I would take the player back to the dealer and demand a new D2.

Same here...
^ i tried the same thing, you mean you covered the whole screen in black? when i did it, it was impossible to colour right to the edge of the screen, say about 3 pixel white border.

I got the same thing you did.
What is this supposed to prove?

I presume you're running 2.41/2.46? If so, then the pattern is Video, Utilities, Picture, Record... It's always the centre four icons.
i emailed the problem to cowon and this was my response:
We do apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused you. Please contact with the store that you purchased your item from and log the fault with their returns department (providing your proof of purchase). In turn, the store will contact the distribution partner and the fault will be logged and a returns number provided. So before i send it in does anyone have any extra help they can give me. i tried factory default settings but it didn't work. thanks

Did you try PMing icedragon7 and ask him how he fixed his problem?

Maybe he has a solution. He never posted to say if he fixed it or what.
