A few questions on the GPS if details about it are known

Is it a known, quality software?

Will it support Europe? (france in my case, but I guess other countries would be interested in it too)

It looks like it is a French run program. Watching the videos on the Cowon Q5, the loading screen for the GPS, names it "Mappy", did a bit of Google researching and came accross this website:

It's all in French so seems like that's it's home language, so if this is the same company, there is no doubt they will have French capabilities.

Mappy is indeed well known in France.

I really hope they ll make it possible to use the french maps for the gps :)

as far as my research shows, the US version will use GPS Car Navigation (Optional) from Tele Atlas premium digital map data of the continental United States featuring text-to-speech technology and 11 million POIs (point-of-interest)
