Touchscreen= less sharp video

After reading several reviews of the Archos touchscreen players, it seems players with touchscreens have sub par video quality. The video on these players is not as sharp and have less contrast than non touchscreen players. Is there a chance the Q5 will suffer from these problems?

it won't be that noticable IMO. but speaking from past experience, it will in fact be less sharp compared to non touchscreen models.

Perhaps, but again, this is a portable media player - of course the video quality won't be great. Nobody is expecting it to be great. It's just kind of the on-the-go watch a TV episode, or movie on a road trip kind of thing. I really dont think it's going to be a problem for the average user.

are you kidding? the PSP screen is worse than the A2's...i can say pretty surely that the Q5 will have a better screen even though it is a touchscreen

The touchscreen d2s picture is pretty decent. Id expect the q5 to be the same

I think the D2's screen is amazing compared to most non touch screen players or PDAs even at 320x240 reso.

D2's screen is ismply amazing... better than most PMP's out there
