Benidigo, Victoria, Australia

Not exactly a city, population is about 90 000. Currently there are active Gold Mines right under the town and it is one of the biggest mining projects in Australia currently. We're in the middle of the state so there's no close beaches. I guess it's an OK place to live :P

Hmmm... that clock in that last Stuttgart pic looked familar, so I had a look through some of the pics I took when I was in Germany earlier this year (sadly before the X5 was released :() and I found this one that I took in Frankfurt... check out the distance to McDonalds - talk about German precision... lol

Wichita Falls is a very plain looking town, in fact it was recently voted
to be the most "average" city of it's size (~ 100K pop) in the whole US.
Everything is very flat here in north central Texas, not much scenery
at all unless you like open plains, cattle pastures full of mesquite trees,
and wheat fields.

Beautiful Los Angeles, Century City and Santa Monica, California. I happen to live in the middle of them all, so I'll give you shots of all three cities.

(I really don't know why my pics turn up as links while everybody elses turn up as pics. Oh well. Take a peek, they're good.)

Damn, the US just doesn't have the same kinda historical landmarks that they have in the rest of the world. Everything is so boring.

The US has lots of very prominent historical landmarks... a few come to mind instantly:

Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, all the monuments and buildings in Wash DC, the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Golden Gate Bridge in SF, the Hollywood sign in LA, the Space Needle in Seattle, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, etc, etc.

Excellent pics of Big-D! I should've included Reunion Tower and the CottonBowl & Big Tex in my list of prominent landmarks in the post above. I lived in D/FW for 7 years... couldn't stand the traffic though.
