Dynamic Playlist Problem

A few days ago I posted a question about disappearing bookmarks, which no-one responded to. (I am quite new to this sort of forum, so if there is anything wrong with my questions, which is resulting in the lack of response, I would appreciate getting some feedback about it.)

Now my Dynamic Play List links are disappearing. I transferred some new files from my PC last night to the internal memory and when I next went to play from the DPL, only 3 files were listed, instead of around 20 which had been there before. All of the files which had been registered in the DPL are still on the D2. The new files which I transferred from the PC went into a folder completely separate from any files in the DPL.

I would really appreciate hearing if anyone else has experienced this problem. If it is a normal occurrence, it makes using the DPL a waste of time.

I had the same problem when I was using fw 2.21. It happened when I added songs to the DPL and then deleted a song from the player (not necessarily a song listed in the DPL). Then it would clear the entire DPL. What firmware version are you using?

Thanks for your response. I am using Firmware 2.41

Hmm...I am using 2.46 now. I haven't had the problem since. However, I can't delete files directly from the player now. But the DPL is stable. I don't know about bookmarks since I never use them.

That's very interesting about you not being able to delete files directly from the player since installing FW 2.41. I am able to do this without any difficulties. However, I would prefer a stable DPL.
