Changing the country / region in my F2

Hi all,

I just bought the iAudio F2 a few days ago and already love this little player. The audio quality is so good [smile]

The thing is that when I upgraded the firmware to 1.13, I set the wrong region by mistake and now I can't find it in the menu. Reset didn't help.

Does anybody know how to change the country / region ? Thanks in advance [yes]

Go to Main Menu, Settings, General, Load Default. I'm sure that will reset the Region and then you may turn off/on the F2 and then select.

I already tried that - the F2 powers up normally, without displaying the region selection menu [no]

Only other two things to do would to format the DAP under JetShell or reinstall the Firmware. Basically here though it would be safer to just format and then reinstall the Firmware.

To do this...

-Open JetShell
-Format
-Once format is complete unplug DAP from PC (Don't Turn It On!)
-Reinsert the DAP and install the Firmware
-Unplug and turn on DAP then it should display the region selection screen

Just install the latest firmware again. I don't think that you have to format before.

Just install the latest firmware again. I don't think that you have to format before.That's what I do. It's like... having to format your Hard Drive to reinstall an Operating System. It's just a safe thing to do.
