dodgy ogg playback

I think it might be to do with the version of ogg you used to encode the music.

An old ogg file (pre v1 of ogg) didn't play, but the same music just encoded with a recent version worked fine.

So, if it doesn't work, try re-encoding it with a more recent endoder?

by the way, that was running firmware 1.25beta

and ripped from cd using CDEX 1.51, with ogg set to q4.

The old ogg file would just be skipped past by the G3 and not played at all (though it played fine in winamp). The new file is played and sounds great.
