I am having issues with bookmarks suddenly and inexplicably disappearing. This is a big issue for me as I mainly listen to audio books and it can take a very long time to find the right place to start listening again.
I regularly delete individual bookmarks which are no longer necessary, and most of the time it works fine. However, all too often I go to select a bookmark and it is no longer there. I haven't been able to establish any kind of pattern - i.e, whether it only happens after the unit has been turned off and then restarted, or whether it only happens after deleting unwanted files or folders from the unit.
I am wondering wondered whether deleting folders changes the overall file structure to such an extent that even bookmarks not related to the deleted files/folders can no longer be found.
I am starting to think I will have to manually write down my bookmarked files before I make any changes to the unit.
Any insights into this issue would be gratefully received.
