I cant believe that thing will sound decent at all it is just too small the bass i imagine would be pathetic. My sister has a similar thing which she uses for listening to audio books which it is fine for.

Could be, except that the Macally only uses one AA battery and plays just as long. Plus the battery is included.

Lol yeah, dealextreme is fun that way, their item description often contradicts what the package says, because they dont lie.

take a look at the staff revieew of these rechargeable batteries for instance:

2000mah sounded good for that price, then i read what they'd written and stayed away :D
