Ok, I must've installed Folder #2 correct, but not 0 & 1 and the screen is all screwed up......and I get nothing. It still reads old firmware 2.1 . Do I deinstall? REinstall? I can't believe I screwed this up.

Please don't use subjects such as "Help!!!" They don't tell people anything about what your thread is actually discussing.

Thank you.

I'd offer advice if I had any, but I don't have a D2. Sorry.

Wish you had provided a more detailed description of your problem, but I assume you want to reinstall the firmware.

Not sure what firmware you were trying to upgrade to, but here is a link to easy to follow instructions to upgrade your D2 to firmware version 2.41, which is pretty stable:

http://www.cowonglobal.com/zeroboard/zboard.php?id=C08&page=2&sn1=&divpage=1&bmenu=download&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=headnum&bmenu=download&desc=asc&no=265&bmenu=download

Just press the reset button (it just make sure your D2 is off) and then connect your D2 to your computer, after you download the update and read the instructions.

I installed the 2.45b version the wrong way...i did it the "from 2.41 way" when i had the 3.41. That means that I only installed the 1 and 2 folders and the D2 got shrewed up. The display was just white with some blue lines on it.

But is was easily solved; just REinstall the firmware. Start with 0, then 1, then 2. That fixed the problem for me
