Just got notice that ecost.com has Patriot 8gb SDHC's on sales for 64.99 after a 10.00 mail-in rebate.

If you have not used Google Checkout before, you can save another $10.00, which would make the cost $54.99. Shipping is about $9.00-$10.00

Seem like a very competitive price...according to their counter, only 9 left.

Why don't any US websites ship overseas??????? AFAIK the only way for me to get a class 4 8gb sdhc card would be on ebay and that would cost AU$124 or US$103!! [sad]

That's a massive generalization - many websites will post overseas for many products. Whent hey won't it is usually because the manufacturer has put an armlock on them, or because of customs/duty/copyright/warranty hassles.

If you think it's a generalization could you please post a link of a website selling 8gb sd cards that will post to Australia or overseas at all? I am pretty sure there is a $1000 tax free limit from US to Australia.

I bought the Patriot 8GB SDHC and it stopped working. My D2 does not recognize it anymore. I have the latest firmware 2.50b. The D2 still recognizes regular SD cards.
