Stuck on splash screen.

I just received my IAudio F2 yesterday from B&H Photo and plugged it in at home to charge the battery. Didn't seem like it was charging just showed the "USB Connected" screen and loaded up the drive on my PC. I figured it was already charged. Successfully dragged some mp3s to it. Disconnected it and went to power it on and it just sits at the splash screen saying "Starting..."

Any ideas before I put the smackdown on B&H Photo?

OS is Linux
PC is less than year old Acer Desktop

theres a reset button on the right side down from the slide on/off switch. try that when its on the splash screen

Nothing happens? It just stays at the loading screen? Have you tried formatting with Jellshell? That may work.
