Aargh! I really wish Cowon stop being difficult and enable bloody 640:480 support - it would make their unit perform much better at basically no cost to them, and make everyone's lives easier. I'm bloody certain that a D2 can support the higher resolution.
A TV-out on such a small player is a unique selling point, quite important for a lot of potential buyers. If they advertise such a feature, and reviewers and users find it lacking, surely Cowon's reputation and sales can only suffer...
I can live with VHS quality, but we really shouldn't have to...
