Enable Jitter Correction?

Do I need to enable this? I noticed it's not by default. From my seperate transport/DAC days (before I said to heck with the separates and just bought a player!), I know that jitter is a bad, bad thing. Is it going to cause problems with it enabled or without? I don't mind if it's slower to rip. I use FLAC-5, just for the record.
