Radio problem

I have my G3 for about a week. I used its radio once after I bought it. A couple of days later I tried to use the autotune feature and it did not work. Since then, all tuning functions don't do anything. Did anyone have this problem?

hook it up to a pc , copy the radio config file. you can edit this directly on your pc ,you can even name the stations.

put this on your g3 and see if it works

Sinn, I tried that too but it didn't help. I can't navigate through presets either. At startup it tunes to some frequency and there's no way you can move it from there.

you can try a full format of the device

make sure that you copy off all system files and dir strucutres

atfer format rebuild the dirs and replace file might as well update the firmware also.

Did that too. Even tried firmware 1.25 beta 1.
Also contacted tech_support but no reply yet.
I guess if I want this solved I should take the official warranty ways... but that would be pretty costly.

I'm having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

FM tuning doesn't work while everything else does. Cowon won't reply Emails and the firmware upgrade/scandisk/reformat didn't do it.

Any hints?

I got an RMA but since I live in Europe I would have liked to send it to some European office. I also had a question over what do they need to get from me and how will they send the new unit back (customs etc.)

Since then, it is like shouting against the wall... also cannot get them on the tech support phone. There's just an anwering machine...

I am now becoming wary about sending the thing to them.... who knows if I ever get something back!?

I sent it back, the supposedly fixed it and should be arriving this Tuesday.

I'll let you know how this progresses.
