My cowon d2 is arriving in the next two days; and I am already so excited for it. I also purchased a 4GB SD card through ebay for less than $30 so I am ready!

But I just have one question

When I get my player should I charge it fully first and then upgrade the firmware or
upgrade the firmware and then charge it fully.

Charge it fully! It's always a good idea to charge any device with batteries fully before you use it the first time so as to minimize the "memory effect".

Well, your battery is less likely to run out while upgrading if you charge it first...

It usually is charged when you receive it....but if it's not it should be charged before a firmware update...
