Any other software available for D2?

I would love to view my PDFs on my D2 instead of having to convert them to text. That and games!

Anyone have any ideas if there are applications out there that we can load onto our D2s?

There aren't any and 99.9% there won't be in future. So the only way for you is to convert pdf into text, and any video that D2 can't play into d2-accepted format ;/

I wouldn't say 99.9% sure.

Cowon expanded the A2 to allow pdf viewing (well, at least you retain the format, though it is actually a conversion to a proprietary format) so there isn't too bad of a chance, depending on the D2's success
