what you think?
Yep, pretty sure it will, I don't see any difference between the technology in 8gb and 16gb cards..?? I hope so anyway, I can't wait to get one when they're available.

Agreed. Anyone have a rough idea about when they might be available? I'm finding it harder and harder not to order an 8GB from newegg.

I first heard the end of this year....than I heard sometime next year...so who knows really...
I would be happy enough with a Christmas-ish 2007 release of 16gb cards... Mind you, they'll be expensive at first, so whenever they do get released, I guess add another 5 months to that, lol, unless I have lots of cash to splash

ditto. I do regular google searches and there doesn't seem to have been any new news out for months (none this year)

I tend to agree, the 16GB IMHO probably won't be readily available till this time next year at a reasonable price, by then there maybe a D2/8GB available (hoping [smile] ) who knows maybe even multi reigon DMB support.
If you can get an 8GB SD cheap enough it maybe worth doing that rather than waiting for the 16 either way by the time the 16GB's are out the 8GB will have dropped in price [yes]
