Continuous Mix Albums - gap between tracks

I have owned an F2 for a few weeks now.

When listening to albums which are continuously mixed (eg. Marvin Gaye - What's going on.)and each track is a file, as opposed to a dj mix of many tunes which is just one file - There is a pause between each track.

Is it possible to adjust the Settings to smooth the transition between tracks?

I found these in the settings, in the general section what do they do?
skip length
scan speed
silent scan

I'm pretty sure...

Skip length = how far ahead you jump when you press fast-forward
Scan Speed = how quickly you go when holding down fast-forward
Silent Scan = scan with or without audio.

You may want to check your manual though. :)

I'm also pretty sure the F2 doesn't offer gapless playback.
