should I be leaving the earphones connected to the device when I don't use it?
I heard that it's recommended in order to avoid future looseness in the earphone jack.

[confused]

thanks

Hrmm... never thought about that. It sounds like a good idea. One thing though, I'd be concerned about breaking off the tip of the connector in the device. This has happened to a member of this list and he was unable to get the tip out.

depends how your carrying around the player, i suppose its better to disconnect the headphones from the player, saying that i never do and never had a problem after years of use.

Hello owners of the F2,

Well, for me that's not all an issue and why is it? I've never heard this problem before besides around here. I actually have had this problem with a Coby CD Player. That sucked back then lol. However, as long as you don't force or put any hard pressure while inserting the adapter into the Headphone Jack your fine. Other then that you should also make sure the Adapter never gets moved around in ANY direction as doing so IF being pushed hard enough can cause the Headphone jack to get damaged. I've learned that with my last MP3 Player or even CD Player. When putting one in your pocket be SURE there's enough space to where the Adapter is free from being pushed on while it's being inserting or while it's inside. Don't where tight pants if you plan on putting it there.

Hope this helps guys.
