I bought one this morning for $25. The US has not had any cases for this thing. If your in the USA, you might have had trouble getting a case, unless you bought the $50 US noreve Case, which I'm sure is better, but It's not for me at twice the cost. Just thought id Spread the good news. This is new as of apr10, I've been checking daily, and finally it has arrived.
Also, theres a guy on ebay selling some silicone cases for $10. Not sure of the quality or fit, but 10 bucks is not bad. Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/For-Cowon-D2-2GB-4GB-CLEAR-Silicone-Skin-Case-Armband_W0QQitemZ110112246761QQihZ001QQcategoryZ86 531QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I received my Cowon D2 case today, and thought I'd share my first impressions. First of all great delivery by cowons Jetmall. I ordered it Tuesday, and received it Thursday morning. Now on with the impressions.
The case is nice, doesn't look or feel cheap, and seems to be built decently using quality materials. I'm not sure its leather, but it looks and feels like it enough. The case holds the player nice and tight, and will not easily come out of there even when its open. It has a nice magnetic fastener that keeps the screen cover flap over the case. The magnet holds tight enough that you can hold the case by the flap with the d2 in it, and it will not open. The flap does seem like it could get in the way when watching movies though. The flap will fold all the way around but theres nothing keeping it there, and with the headphones plugged in, you cannot fold it all the way back without removing the headphones first.
On the backside, they have a belt loop allowing you to hold it on your belt. The beltloop is very tight and snug against the case, and will not catch on anything by mistake. You can tell that the belt loop will keep the case tight against your person, and will not wiggle around. In addition, it comes with a nice all aluminum ("mountain climber) clip. This allows you to easily clip it to your keys chain, purse or belt loop. This clip is attached to a hard plastic half round loop that is attached to the back. This does look like it could break if your not careful, but is adiquate for carrying the weight of the d2.
The Case itself does add a bit of girth to an already thick player, as the case is a bit puffy on the front side, but is completely flat on the back. It makes it almost too big to put in your pocket. Without the case, I was able to put the player easily in my front pants pocket, but with the case its too big and doesnt feel comfortable.
The button cutouts at the top expose the buttons, but the cutout is ever so slightly off by about 1/16th of an inch to the left. This is ok, but does hinder you when turning it on and off a bit. It also has a small hole where built in Mic is.
The Flap opens easily, and exposes all connections on the left, but there is only a hole for your headphone jack. You will have to open the flap to charge the unit or use any of the line in/out plugins. The hole for headphone jack is oversized on purpose so that the flap easily opens.
The stiching is nice, but not always perfect. You have to look closely to see it, but the poor stiching is only in places you can't easily see. The stiching on the cover is perfect. The case also comes with a stylus holder, which I am not using. Instead, I have attached the stylus to the mountaineer clip and it easily reaches around to the screen.
Heres the largest problem I see with it. It does not have a whole exposing the SD Card slot. You will have to pull the player out to change cards.
Hope This helps...

No message from my AV program, BitDefender. If you look at the message, your antivirus program thinks it found a varient of something else, meaning the av signature is close but not exact. It was probably nothing.

Yeah, I see that it says "probably", but I had to be sure.
Probably the heuristics going off again.
