Noobie question: My X5 just won't work...

Sorry if this has been covered before on here, I'm not quite sure what to search for...

My problem:

I went to listen to some music and my X5 wouldn't turn on. So I went to recharge it but when I hooked it up to the AC adapter I didn't turn on and say "charging" like it usually does.

So I went to hook it up to my computer to see if that would work but it didn't work. All I got was the message "USB device not recognized."

I've only had this mp3 player for about a month and it's really pissing me off already. [cursing]

I'm a bit clueless as to what to do so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you recently smash it or any sort of hard impact?

I agree whith the previous posts. The X5 usually does not just quit unless you do something unusual. Like doniago suggested, why not tell us what you did and how you corrected the problem.

I waited a couple of hours and tried to recharge it again.
