Okay, so i was reffered to the Super video converter to handle the .mov files from my digital camera. It worked like a charm and played on the D2 in one step. Today i tried to convert some VOB files i ripped from a DVD and i can't get the aspect ratio right. When you select 320x240 in the resize area, it automatically changes the aspect ratio to 4:3. I can select to override this to 16:9 but it doesn't do anything. when you hold the cursor in the override area, super gives you a disclaimer that "overriding my not be supported by all output video codecs. overriding results may differ between ffmpeg, Mencoder, ffmpeg2theora..." does anybody have any experience with this that could give me a hint as to what settings i should use to have some controll over the aspect ratio?
