Hi!
for those interested:
Saturday 7 april; did a search on ebay for cowon D2 case, and clear and white silicone cases are now available.
Thanks for the heads up,
I ordered a clear one, $9.95 + $4.95 shipping.
Not to bad, considering that I have been waiting a long time and have grown tired of checking all the different sites for availability.
Thanks again caribou.
These cases also come with an armband and neck sling. I ordered one, too.

I looked at some of his feedback and most of the complaints are for selling cheaply made items :| a big caution sign for me.

I guess I'll be finding out.[blink] At least it's only ten bucks.

hehe, yea let us know for sure :)
Just got my silicon case, and it's pretty nice. It is definitely designed specifically for the D2 - everything fits perfectly. I will take some pics after my huge test tomorrow. Delivered super fast.

pfft only 10 bucks?! That's like....6 of them little junior chicken burgers at mcdicks, or any of the other kinds :P
On another note, I had a silicon case for my ipod nano before, and when I got it, it looked cool, but after a while of having it on, and when i took it off, a lot of the ipod was covered in little silicon scratch marks and such....really made it look uglly. Be warned about silicon cases!!!! Especially if it's prone to getting dust inside.
pics would relly help..
I hope it doesn't look shitty just b/c it's cheap..
arm band looked useless to me..

Thanks for willing to share pics. And also.. is the case really easy to remove? I only want it in the case while I'm in the gym and then for other times I want it off since I'll be covering my D2 with the stickers and the full body shield.. So if it is really simply to constantly put on and off then I'll definitely be getting it..
Here you go. I wouldn't call it beautiful, but it seems functional enough. I haven't used the armband or the necktie yet, so I can't report on them.

Mine came in today, just as pictured by brianl. Fit is good and easy on, easy off.
Now for Zcover to get on the stick so I can get a black one.

Got mine today as well. Took the D2 out for some exercise using the armband and it worked fine. Was great to have the screen ready and readable for easy song changes to match my jogging moods (which span the gamut from mild agony to complete despair). For 10 bucks and quick shipping there's nothing not to like!

thanks for the reviews and everything.. and for those who have already purchased it, do you think the D2 will still easily slip in and out of the case if it has the stickers, and perhaps the full body shield, over it (.. since there might be a small increase in thickness)?
Thanks.

It's pretty elastic so I would think it would stretch to accomodate a bit more thickness. However, if it stretched to the point where the headphone-jack hole didn't line up quite right...well, that might be kind of annoying. Still...10 bucks...

Given the feedback ... "10 Bucks... Fast Delivery"... and the fact that the Zcover availability is still TBD... I ordered one of these today to use in the gym.
Btw, from the pictures it looks like the armband is narrower than the slits in the case. Is this an issue? I'm assuming that the armband is made of stretch synthetic material... How rough is it? Can it scratch the back of the D2? Does it look like it will last?
Thanks

I'm not too familiar with silicone cases, so I would like to know if this case could stetch out of shape? I got mine today, and I didn't realize that it was going to be so flexible.. and it's not exactly a tight fit - and the front edges sort of bump out instead of sitting firmly on the player. Is this a normal thing? I was planning on removing and the player back in it a bit frequently, and now I'm not sure if I could do that without the case quickly losing the "fit"..
