D2 most similar in size to ...? Trying to purchase Armband Case

I am in dire need of a case with an armband for gym use and obviously there are no such products out yet for the D2.

Does anyone know of a case that might work with the D2? I was thinking about the Case Logic CDM-1 (which is an old product) http://www.caselogic.com/universal_mp3_player_case/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=66003 (which is quite bigger than the d2) or maybe this iSnug iPod case... (I might be able to adjust the open area to close it a bit since the case is longer than the d2) ..

Are there any other options? If the d2 is close in size to some other player and there is a sport case for it, then depending on the case, I might be able to tweak it a bit...

People are probably waiting silicon cases from some well known company like zcover.
And I'm not seeing much demands on this silicon case and zenus leather case.

they have good reviews but not the best.

Better silicon case will be released by company called rearth.
rearth is well known for the transperant silicon cases, unlike other semi-transperant cases.
but no armband support from what I'm seeing right now.

I'm waiting for a zCover, but If one of these Korean silicone cases were available in the US (at a reasonable price) and If I could get some "positive" feedback regarding their quality... I'd buy one tomorrow.

Btw, the zCover for the A2 is ~$25 from Jetmall... so one for the D2 should sell for a similar price. Besides the armband, I like the idea of having those other clip options available for zCovers.

if you are able to navigate through GMarket, *I BELIEVE* you can do international orders. It's something like a Korean eBay, no?

not exactly Korean ebay, but similar (auction.co.kr powered by ebay is korean ebay)
problem is shipping fee is huge.
if you buy just 1, the shipping cost is expensive than item itself.

I may be interested in purchasing one too.. but I would prefer the complete transparent one.. although that may not have an armband...

In the meantime, after long and hard searching, I just purchased something that looks like it will be a great fit for the D2.. It's called a Naztech Sport case and can fit a lot of different things from cell phones to ipods. It also comes in many different colors and a detachable armband, a carabiner-like belt clip and neck strap.

Of course I would prefer something that would allow me to have access to the screens and the volume button.. but it'll do for now since I need it now..

its similar in size to most sony minidisc armbands. I have one and use it sometimes even though im still looking for the perfect belt clip case. Here's one:

I have about 5 or 6 Tunebelts (http://www.tunebelt.com/) As I've always bought a new one with each new MP3 player. I have a couple of the AB3 model, which I think is perfect for the D2 while running. Of course you can't access anything on the player without removing it from the armband, but I don't usually fiddle with my player on a run.

I haven't actually run outdoors with my D2 yet, but will do so this coming Saturday morning using the Tunebelt.

Just a no-frills recommendation. You can find them on eBay, or just do a websearch on 'Tunebelt' to find a few places selling the line [smile]

Looks like silicone cases with armband and strap for the D2 specifically have made it on the big auction site in N. America. May just have to get me one myself.
