I just bought a matin screen protector for my D2
said it is 2.5" size on the label but is slightly smaller than that in height otherwise really good, extremely clear to look at.

Any finger prints are easily cleared just by using you fingers to wipe clear. You only notice them obviously when the screen is off.

it is a static type of film, so no probs getting it off again

you only get the one film though so a bit expensive AU$9.95 ($3.49US)

model no:(m-7304) for the 2.5" it is labeled as such

you can source them on amazon on adorama
but the nikon d2h also has a 2.5" screen so that would fit too!
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_p/103-0261619-2087056?url=me%3DA17MC6HOH9AVE6&field-keywords=matin&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

i got mine from my local Camera House

EDIT: the surface is nice an slippery if you like that sort of thing, good for the dict handwriting and virtual motion UI

will update you guys and girls if there is are any probs i have

hope this helps any one looking for screen protection

i just realised why the specific dlm 7304 model isn't a perfect fit

just because the model LCD screen film says it is 2.5" doesn't mean it will have the correct height (doh!)

i have tried there website that is listed on the packet but they don't even have the LCD screen protectors on there, go figure
www.matin.co.kr

ok just had another look at my packet the film size is W50 x H37 mm

i have mine towards the bottom, seens as you'll be using the menu button down there

if any one know the height of say the pentax ist dl or the nikon d2h
please let me know

cheers

I had mine custom made at expertshield.com, at first I couldn't find it on their products list, so I emailed their customer service and asked them if they carry screen protector for my Cowon A2 and they said no, but they are happy to make me one if I would but give them the measurements, after a week or so, I received my own custom made screen protector in the mail. Although there is a small price to pay but I have the screen protector the way I wanted it to be. Hope this helps. Cheers

thanks for that esame.

just had a look at there website, seems to be very similar to the Matin screens

you would think that if you had yours or if anyone else had custom made screens that then you should be able to order them also when they put them on there site.

how many are you supplied with

do they supplier a cloth or any other accessories?

are there clear instructions?

they only thing i would say about the matin is the instructions are pretty limited but at least they already attached the sticky red flap to the protective layer so it is easy to get off.

they supply only a tiny piece of cardboard that you use to apply and get the bubbles out, but really there where none to get rid of.

I only got one off the package but it comes with a note saying that if I'm not satisfied with it in whatever reasons, they are more than happy to replace or give me a full refund.

It comes with a microfibre wiping cloth and also a strip of removal sticker for lifting if you want to remove the screen protector.

I can understand the instructions that is on the package but I have to try a few times before I can get all the bubbles off but that's normal for a first timer.

Try going to this site call www.expertshield.com.sg that I discovered not long ago, I think it's their "sister" website, it has a video showing how to put on a screen protector properly. I think this is of great help for those who's putting a screen protector on for the first time.
