cowon d2 4gb at newegg?

I noticed that someone said they emailed newegg and was told that they will be getting them soon. For some reason, i cant find an email address for them, and the phone service is not for asking those type of questions. The only option was the live chat, but the reps dont know anythin other than that they claim to get the newest renovations out fast.

Anyone know anythin possibly?

I took exactly 3 weeks after Jetmall had the 2gb till it was at newegg...so not sure the exact date when jetmall got the 4gb...but it won't be long now because I think it's very close to 3 weeks since jetmall got the 4gb.

I contacted them recently in hope they would have the 4gb black model. I didn't want to pay the manufacturer prices. They told me it wasn't on their agenda. For your sake I hope they will have it. I have seen it in www.bhphotovideo.com but it's at the regular manufacturer prices.. I'm expecting mine soon, cant wait! Good luck to you. One plus about ordering through the manufacturer is the accessories. I Picked up an extra stylus, tiny USB to put on my key ring. Unfortunately they didn't have the a/v cable and line in cable. I am told within a week. We will see. Take care. [thumbsup]

Yes it is, but that changed recently. I saw it when it first went up and the time of the writing. I agree it is 20$ less now.

Not sure if you got my pm, but im curious, how in the world did you find that out from newegg? Their phone service doesnt include product inquiry, they dont have email, and the online chatters dont know nothing.

Well, I spoke to the online department first and yes they didn't know (or rather told me no it wasn't available). But they gave me an email for the purchase department similar to where you can make requests to them, but instead I posed it as a question. I am just saying as I was told. Would I be shocked if they sold the 4gb? not at all. I would be glad for others if they did. As for me I couldn't wait any longer and I went and bought it right off of jetmall.net. It seems I bought the 2gb too early, ended up spending 229.94 on 8gb (2gb D2+ 4gb SDHC + 2gb SD).

Now you can get 12gb (using only one card) for 260.61, which is cheaper in comparison to getting an additional 4gb card (and much more convenient) by about 7 dollars, and cheaper than buying 2gb+2gb+8gb buy a dollar or so.

BTW, the above price was including this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211148) card, which has been confirmed to work with the current final firmwares. Quite a nice buy, considering the Sansa e280 and 2 2gb micro-sd cards adds up to 271.94!

The 8gb nano seems like an absolute joke. Price point is around $240 for 8gb. 20 bucks for 4gb is unheard of. The only competition as far as 12-20gb ultraportables is the trekstor vibez, at around 200, but the features and form factor are nothing in comparison.
