My day with the cowon leather pouch and cowon screen protector.

The pouch:

I woke up today, got to the computer.. and continued my search for a case or pouch for my Cowon d2.

I went to cowon.com and called their sutomer service.
Answered immediatly and kindly.
Very good costumer service.
Idk about cowon america, but cowon korea is great. (In korea atm for vacation)

I asked about the zenus pouch, they told me they had it, and where to buy it.
They directed me to the cowon company building nearest to my location.
(I was kinda skeptical that they would hold the ZENUS pouch)

So 2 hour bus ride, and they DIDNT have the znus pouch, only the cowon iAudio pouch.
What a bummer.
Well I was like "Screw it, Im getting it", and Im really glad I did.
Well my cousin bought it for me since its my birthday today.

The pouch is GREAT...great quality.
The interior leather is great quality...very good grip so I HIGHLY doubt your cowon can just slip out.
It fits my cowon d2 nice and snug...very good fit.
Sure the Noreve LOOKS better, but its also 48 USD not counting shipping.

It has a little keychain pouch for the stylus or a sdhc card..both fit nice and tight.

The only bad thing is: There is no opening for an sdhc card...you ahve to Lift the flap and slip your sdhc card...But no biggy.

And I saw on display the Cowon manufactured screen protector.

Its 10 bucks for 2. Its really clear and nice.

But Its not on right now.
Im really confused on how to put it on. The Directions are in korean..so its very confusing.
Both sides of the screen protector are exactly alike, I dont know how to even put it on.
it said "silicone based adhesive" But I dont see or feel an adhesive anywhere.

But its the exact same size as the d2 screen, so very easy to fit on.

EDIT: hahah how dumb of me..youre not suposed to peal the sticker..just pul it off, and the sticker peals it for you.
Also..its a HUGE MAGNEt for fingerprints. EDIT!: but they give you a nice handy clothe to whipe it after use. Really good clothe, doesnt leave behind specs.

EDIT!:Now its on, and its really nice. but should I worry about the adhesive messing with my screen when I peal it off to put my Durasec on it?

So I dont think ill be using it.

So that was my brainfart. Lets hear some other opinions.

Thanks for the review on the iaudio pouch. How much did you pay for it? I got a buddy in Korea who may be able to get me one as well. The Zenus case looks nice too.

I cant find the Zenus case ANYWHERE...been going around korea in the subway/bus for 1 and a half weeks now.

Well I bought the case for 20 dollars cause I got it directly from Cowon.
But Id say about 25 in the U.S. w/o s&h.

And no I cant take pictures...no camera =\

But just imagine the zenus or noreve case with its flap on the short end of the side. =D

And it gives WONDERFUL protection indeed.
Its nice and padded, but fits perfectly in my pocket.

And it might be around $30 without s&h I guess.

I can get Zenus case for US people, just about the same price for metal case
$27 shipped. (calculated wrong.. maybe $32)
but not seeing that much interest yet.

Oh and, The seems on my cowon iaudio case isnt white, its black.
Which is a good thing, cause when white seems get dirty they turn brown, and itll be a pain to get em clean.

No, I didnt buy it.
I want it, but I dont want to put my iAudio case to no use. I like the iaudiocase a lot, Id say the only difference between the znus and iaudio is the side of the flap.

9:22 to be exact, and yeah...Im home a lone while my mom and aunt are at the spa..so I had so instant ramen and they were - the - shit! =D

That's cos Korea always exports the inferior quality stuff abroad (when it comes to food at least)...Shin ramen, jjappagetti, Jjajjaroni, neoguri, and all other instant noodles taste rubbish if you buy them abroad (even soy sauce is rubbish). Luckily my parents are sending me a few boxes of them from korea muhahahaa

I think I'm just going to buy the Cowon screen protectors rather than the Nushield or the shielzone..I figured if it's made by Cowon, it's their fault if it damages my player...right?

I kinda like the idea of having a sealed case (no SD exposed) that way its a bit more dust/contaminant resistant [yes]

If you are going to take some pics with the D2 in it can you show the top of the case, to see how the butons look :)

My parents = asian.

If we still have a working camera from the 90s, we dont need a new one =.=

But the buttons fit the top holes nicely.
