Anyone use this sofware? When I had the M3 I never bothered since I could load music through Explorer. Is it good or what?

Yah, I use it - the playback and ripping features are great. The only thing that sucks is the Music Management system.

I use it to, as a replacement for my winamp, I did never reget this change. For more easy to use, but still with better and more features.

I use both Jetshell and Jetaudio. I like both programs, no problems yet. I have been using them for over a year with a CW300. Using them with the M3 is just as easy.

Ojjorz, what is better with JetAudio than with Winamp? I don't think JetAudio is bad or something but I'm a real hardcore Winamp user for already six or seven years and I've never missed anything. So, I'm a bit curious 'bout your arguments, guys!

eXity, one special question in addition: Why is there no German language pack for JetAudio 6? I mean you're designing one skin after another but there is still no language pack for us Krauts? Perhaps There is a possibility to arrange sth when I have a silent weekend or so and I get some help for the implementation.

I also used Winamp for about 4 years, but I prefer Jetaudio because of the extra sound effects such as BBE. Just try to compare the sound, first play the same song with Winamp and then with Jetaudio (with BBE on ofcourse). There's a real difference.

I dont like jetaudio that much because it doesnt go full screen and its library fuctions are not the greatest. Personally, I like the way that Windows Media does their library..

When I rip a cd with jetaudio, the rip speed is very slow compared to Roxio (1.2 vs. 4.8) Any idea why?

@swellmel
slow ripping speed isn't bad per se...if you use eac or cdex in paranoia modus your computer will take a longer time until the ripping is done. The reason with eac and cdex is that they try to avoid mistakes and provide you with better results than if you rip a CD fast, which could increase the risk of failures. Don't know about jetaudio then. I only use it for playing purposes (and there it does a good job with playing almost every codec), not for ripping.

@adamrm038
jetaudio does go full screen. Just use the right mouse button and the context menue.

I've also always bee a hardcore winamp user. Winamp has the advantage of search functions, Jetaudio of the sound quality. I use booth! But most of the time I actually use Virtual DJ 2.06. Excellent bpm automatic mixing ...

I started using Jet Audio at work instead of Musicmatch but have a hard time with the (lack of a true) Library function. I do like the Toolbar mode though.

I use Jetshell instead of Explorer for transferring music to my i5. I find that I can put the songs in the order I want them on the player easily before I transfer. As long as you have the sorting checked as play in the order downloaded, it is much easier to set up complete albums in their proper order.
