Hi all,
I'm trying to find some cheap chargers + batteries to go with my i5.
The only thing i am looking for is:
- will ship to canada
- the store sells the charger and batteries for pretty cheap ($40 or less canadian for both)
- will charge any NiMH batteries (AA = AAA)
- worldwide voltage
- preferably under 2 hours
this looks the closest to what im looking for:

but the store unfortunately doesnt sell AAA batteries :( i want to make this purchase under one roof
Sorry guys if im too picky :(
I think you just can go with Energizer 850mah AAA rechargable. You can find them at Walmart. But >> 2 hours.
I buy my batteries and chargers from Thomasdistributing.com. They sell a great MAHA C401FS charger that has four independent charging circuits that lets you charge one, two, three, or four batteries at one time (mix and match, fast charge or slow charge). This is perfect for our one battery players. This has been called the best charger on the market by Steve's Digicam.
Plus they sell 1000 mah AAA NiMH batteries. That is a lot of power in a tiny package.
I have been very happy with their products and service.

I have a set of these. If the above >> 2 hours means what I think it means, DO NOT use these batteries in a fast charger. The battery covering melts and warps.

I've got the energizer 850mah and i just use the cheap energizer charger that walmart sells as well. Its not too bad to wait 8 hours for them to charge when you've got 4 and each one lasts over 10 hours.
However if you must have under 2 hours, and if you want 1000 mah that doesn't sound like a bad option. I looked for a while at chargers and couldn't find exactly what i wanted for a cheap enough, but then i was hanging out at walmart and figured i may as well just get one, they aren't that expensive anyway or that important if you get exactly what you want.

i am the research-for-days-before-i-buy kinda guy, but i jsut made up my mind on the CH-V1880 (Smart World Wide charger + 4 AA + 4 AAA rechargeable batteris + 1 case).
It can be found here along with a ton of different combinations of chargers.

If you can find it, the Duracell CEF12N is a great charger for going cheap, as it has 4 independent banks. It's cheap, though, because it only has one charging mode, and one indicator light--not a bell or whistle on it.
