hey people,

i'm really looking forward to getting my cowon D2...i have to work 4 night shifts in order to pay for it tho [cry] ..

anyway i've already begun to look for accessories for the D2..screen protector (nushield?) and a carry case for the D2.

i was hoping for a simple pouch to slip in and out my D2 rather than completely encase the player...(i think it looks too nice to be covered like that)...

i think something like this is really nice...http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/Accessories.7/Carry_Cases.11/iRiver.4/ACCCLIXPOUCH/iRiver_Clix_Pouch.2067.html

but i would like a memory card pocket as well...im intending on getting two or three 4gb cards you see. has any one seen anything similar...i've been trying to look at simple camera cases as well...

thanks for your help

Pixmania (http://www.pixmania.com/se/se/home.html) har lite tillbehör till D2. Sök på iAudio i ljudavdelningen.

The Case Logic looks like a nice case. Hows does the D2 fit?
I might just get one.

Measuring the inside of the case at it's biggest point it's about a 1/2" or 13mm's bigger than the D2...but the height is perfect...the D2 doesn't wiggle around inside of the case. I really like the way it fits. It's hard to find a nice pouch that fits the D2 perfectly. And with this you don't have to worry about dropping it because the pouch is nicely padded.
But make sure you look at the size because some of them come in small, medium and large.

But here's some more to look through:

Is there room for earphones inside?

Well... you MOST PROBABLY don't need it, but I found that the Etymotic ER-4 pouch that comes with the earphones work pretty well. Of course, with the D2 inside, you won't have any room for the actual earphones itself...

Is there room for earphones inside?

No not really...the D2 takes up just about all the space...like I said there is a little room about a half inch...not really enough room for earbuds....but even if there was I'm not sure I'd store them in there with the D2 unless it was a hard case.

But here's a hard case I use to store both the D2 and my Shure E500's when I travel and don't want them to get smashed. Very High Quality also.
When you open up the case it has this elastic on the sides that keep it from opening all the way...I just snipped off the elastic with scissors so it opens all the way up and you can lay the D2 and your headphones in there just the way you want. This case is very stiff so there's no way of anything getting smashed.

Yeah i think it looks good too. THanks to everyone for their replies...I'm not sure about the hard Gravis case..looks too bulky although it would be very good for travelling.

I've only 3 nightshifts to go! (technically 2 and a half but they wont let me do half a night... [thumbdwn] ) Just got back from one and feeling very very dozey [wacko]

Sorry to start off on such a silly note; couldn't resist. (So much for first impressions.) Anyway, been visiting this forum past 2 months and I'm Sold!

So, just like you guys, I've been in D2 heaven (um, almost) since day one. And not to 'suck-up' too much with this first post, but the best D2 feature? Awesome bunch of supportive and fun-loving D(2)-votees. Seriously, you regulars clinched the deal. COWON's baby is in good hands!

Right, about that pouch deal? First, props to tabv for the ebags.com site. But, because I'm a cheap Bas__rd, I checked out Amazon.com and found this: Chums Diddie iPod Case (http://www.amazon.com/Chums-BDD258-Diddie-iPod-Case/dp/B000AOG064/ref=sr_1_5/104-8636315-3994304?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1174038010&sr=8-5)

(OK, big whoops, but... my D2 needs a home!)

Not to pull any business away from ebags, but a deal's a deal. Mine hasn't arrived yet; when it does I'll give a full report. --Schuby Doo

Oops! Here's the link to that case/pouch at www.ebags.com.

Chums Diddie iPod case (http://www.ebags.com/chums/diddie_ipod_case/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=54639)

Might be worth a look till the 'clear case' comes to America. Now that case has some interesting possibilities: Metal skins? Matching wallpaper? Yum!

hey tabv, by any chance, is it possible to post a picture of the d2 next to the gravis hard case. im interested in purchasing a hard case to protect it but want to know the actual size of the gravis. whenever they describe the the lxhxw (4.25" x 3.5" x 1.5", and i compare it to something, it never comes out right. i guess i need visuals.

pictures of it next to it, on top of it, side views, and inside would be greatly appreciated.[yes]

actually of thinking of purchasing both the case logic one and this gravis. ive been shopping around looking for a good one. i came across the case logic pouch several weeks back but never did get around to buying it. but since both products are at ebags...will save money that way.

Does it fit nicely into your pocket?
Im looking for something thats not to "cushy" or bulgy in your pocket.

Thanks Tabv. Am ordering the case logic pouch. It's exactly what I've been looking for!
Also a really great deal if you use the coupon code "EMCLOVER" which takes 20% off this! ;-)
