hi guys,
i live in japan, i recently bought a cowon A2 (second hand, mainly to watch movies that i download from torrents (divx).

all is great!!

here my questions.
i constantly surf the internet to check any updates on the latest pmp devices.
i have noticed that the cowonA2 has upgraded to A3.

i don't have any problem or complain with mine, but i would like to understand what does upgrade means, i am literally very ignorant about those sort of things.
you might ask, why did i buy it? like i said, almost only to watch movies on the go, and some music, so far so good.

does that mean that it is possible to upgrade my A2 by dowloading the new upgrade into it? if so, how and where can i get those upgrade?
or if someone like the new A3, must buy the actual device?

while i am at it, i have aother questions.
as you know one of the few problems with the A2, which i don't think it is, is that has not a detachable battery, nevertheless, has a long playback lasting, about 10 hours, eventually those battery will die, is there a way to recharge it when that happen or i have to buy a totally new one?

i bought the device in japan, but i do travel to the uk often, since the voltage is different, do i need a transformer to recharge it, i know that i can recharge it through ubs, still i would like to know if there is another way either than buy a transformer.

i think that's it.

p.s. i am incredibly lazy to bother with spelling and grammar, i am not an english native speaker, as yoiu have noticed, so please be patient with me.
flaming is acceptable lol!!

The A3 is an entirely new product. You can't upgrade to it. There is an entire sub-forum devoted to talking about this product.

BTW, welcome to the boards. And....to be blunt...when you say things like 'I'm too lazy to bother with spelling and grammar' you're probably not going to score points with a lot of people. I know if I have to struggle to understand a post I'm likely to just ignore it entirely. If you're too lazy to write, can't blame us for being too lazy to read. :)
