View Full Version : Work in progress: Portable D2 speaker :D

Started a new project.. Basically I took some LEDs, a bread board, one of these (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4), and a box that came with a DIY mini amp kit...
I can't for the love of me find the pack of transistors I bought some days ago so I won't get the electroniscs up and running 100% until monday, so Im thinking of painting it black until then. When it's done, it will hopefully have some more swtiches that control the D2 LED siugn, so it can be turned off, permanently on or blinking to the music (left speaker = D, right = 2 so it blinks stereo so to speak).

pretty neat. You just keep building and making things, the D2 case, the D2 stand, the D2 speaker system, what next?? Wish i was as inventive. Very Unique as well, i like the little LED's.

Not forgetting that Storage unit ive seen on 'head fi'.

Any chance of using thumbnails, or at least smaller pics instead of the full-size ones?

yep thats the storage unit. I could do with something like this, maybe a lil smaller to fit all my gear in and to lock it away from prying eyes.

Great :D Used them almost every day since I made them, when I got the D2 they worked even better, as I can use it as a suddle alarm clock and also the D2 has the sleep funtion :) Everyone should have pillow speakers ^^

got a stereo VU meter from ebay today, worked fine and looks very nice :D
wondered about putting it in those speakers but i dont think there's room:/
