Has anyone heard of a sleeve or case that would fit over D2 and it has raised bumps on it matching where the the control buttons are on the screen -- this would allow you control the D2 more when it is in your pocket, you could feel where the "Play/Pause/Skip Song" etc buttons are on the screen, because the skin would have bumps on it in the correct area of the screen.

This would be cool. It could be clear plastic or something. It might decrease the clarity for viewing videos on the screen, but I'd buy one if they made one. I really want to be able to control D2 more without taking it out of my pocket.

I even thought about making my own -- maybe I'll get silicone case for it when they come out, then put my own bumps on it so I can contrl the screen by feel in my pocket.

Do they already sell something like this?

Or does anyone have ideas on how I can control D2 more without taking it out of my pokcket? I know about the user defined button, but that only allows you to do one thing...

Thanks for any help or ideas!

That's a good idea. I probably wouldn't do it since I'm sure I'll be able to vizualize the locations of buttons in my mind when I get my D2. But how about taking some clear tape and cutting small circles or squares and applying those on top of a normal screen protector? That should work and it wouldn't even be all that noticable.

I don't mean to totally rain on your idea or anything because truly I would also like a more tactile control scheme for use in a pocket or other out of view places, but it seems like this idea simply wouldn't work too well.

Assuming you have some sort of protective sheet with bumps in the correct places for the buttons on the touchscreen, but these bumps also allowed you to still touch the buttons on screen as normal. By the time you are feeling the small bumps to figure out what button you are over you have already pressed the button on screen, which seems like it totally negates the proposed purpose of the small bumps in the first place.
