Hello folks.... hopefully by tomorrow, i'll be a happy owner of my very own D2!!! And been lurking on these forums for a while looking for a nice leather case for it.... noreve being one of my options but for 50 dollars... its not really an option.... soooo im putting my faith in my skills and will try to make me a case.... expect some pics soon!!!! wish me luck![thumbsup]

My D2 is strictly for use in the gym when I'm on the elliptical machine. I'll be developing some kind of adjustable strap/harness to keep the player from falling off the display while I'm running. I'm taking some dental floss to the gym tomorrow morning to take measurements [smile]

cool man!!!! ur case gives me inspiration... sadly i have to wait till monday to get my d2... sigh... and a waiting we shall do......[yawn]

i reckon Captain Ødegård has a great imagination and has done well for his D2plus they are decent rather than spending loads of money on cases and stuff which are sometimes kind of useless so its better to build your own mod but hey cant blame for not trying ....dude Captain Ødegård excellent job [thumbsup] ...awesome:jamming:

If you can wait 3 to 4 weeks, you can get a quality leather case for somewhere around $20to $22 from misticaudio.com. The cases are going into production this week. I've seen their other cases and they look great. Here is what they wrote me:

Good News! we've submitted our designs for a case for the D2 and will be going into production next week. Just a glimpse into it:
- All Leather
- Soft Lining
- Flap Style Case
- Belt Loop attachment
- SD Card Slot

Should turn out nice and compact and very pocketable, protecting the D2 while still looking good. With production starting this coming week i'd say we're 21-25 days from shipping them to customers... Pricing should be in the $19.95 - $22.95 range as well.
