I just had something weird happen so I thought I would pass this on in case it helps some one else. I had a 512 SD card laying around and I tried to use it in the D2 and it did not work. I then reformatted the card using Windows and it still did not work. I then took the same card stuck it in my camera and formated it with my camera and it then worked in the D2. I am not sure why this happened but in may work for others.

I had like 5 other sd cards laying around and I tried them all and they all work in the D2. Just the one car did not for some reason. The card that did not work I pulled right out of a another player I had that was working just fine with the same card.

I also ordered a 4gig card today so I hope it works. It is a standard FAT style SD card so I hope it works. I found a 4 gig card for 40.00US so I had to get it. The new card is a Transend Micro brand.

The kind of file system the card has (FAT16, 32 or NTFS, etc...)
doesn't depend by the card but how you format it, i guess using windows you formatted it in ntfs or maybe fat32 and the D2 doesn't support it.

Just format it in fat16 (or maybe fat32, i don't know if it's supported)
, i hope that's the problem you're having.

You know I think I did format it FAT32. I just assumed that is what it used. Woops. I bet it doesn't support FAT32. Mystery solved. LOL

I'm not sure it doesn't support fat32 thoug, because that would limit the max partition size to 2GB, and that's not true.

Maybe your card had some kind of problem, u could try to reformat it and see if it happens again, but i would stay with the doubt if i were in you.
