I am trying to convert a couple of videos using Jetaudio VX. If I use the D2 Auto Normal Quality Preset, everything is perfect.
However, as sometimes the VBR setting of this preset results in video files that are too big, I would like to use another quality setting, either VBR low or CBR 256. The problem is that whenever I try this, the resulting video plays fine on the PC but has a black screen on the D2.
Any ideas how to convert videos with Jetaudio with a lower bitrate so they play on the D2?

Thnaks!

Why do you use this unspecified CBR Normalquality Preset?

It is much better with 512Kbit for cartoons
and 758Kbit for movies

most DVD Rips are 1 megabit of bitrate. So if you use the 512 preset they will become almost half the size...

Because my D2 is not a high-end home theater device, but just a mobile video player. For me, a lower quality output would be more than enough.
All I want to know is how to accomplish this.

I'm not sure if the settings that give the black screen are D2 settings or something else (don't have the software in front of me to double check).

I've only got the black screen when using xvid outside of the JetAudio encoder. All JetAudio D2 settings seem to work fine so far..

The D2 Setting work, what doesn´t work is if I change the e.g. bitrate...
