Do you think, that it will be possible to run programs in java ? games, dictionary, simply all software supported on mobile? of course with firmware v9.99 [smile]

and another question: will be possible to type a text on D2 ? maybe virtual keyboard wgich you will touch with fingers or something like plectrum.

i dont see why they cant put some features to add to it and make it a mini personal organizer as well... it has many features already just hve to make different program... such thing as screen savers for music and or some kind of cool plugin feature... maybe put like calendar or other things... but make things optional better yet let it be open source hehe, then the player will be popular quick

I think when I looked up the Telechips they used in the cowon d2, I saw java and even 3d support....
So it is possible to get implemented but who knows...
The d2 will probably have a keyboard with the next fw update...
But I don't know if it will support text file editing or something like that....

it has to be pop enough for people to start to hack the fw hehe... that or they make it easy for avg person to add/edit basic things either way it has to be pop enough

if they added this it would be truly a first class player because if it is already on the chip it would boost their sales dramatically. if there were games and animated backgrounds and animated gifs on it then you really have something to show off to your friends. Imagine games on your 16 million colour screen.
