Can it be "overcharged"?

Well, my D2 has been fully charged all day long. But I've been adding a lot of lyrics for the past few hours, and as the battery is fully charged, can it take damage from charging it even more?

I don't know anything about batteries, so please help me out!

Good question as it doesnt cutt off when fully charged like the a2 did

I think it's lithium polymer that's in the D2.

i believe it stops charging once the 'Battery Full' screen comes up. the manual doesn't say anything unfortunately.
