Firmware upgrade problem

When I upgraded it, I unzipped it but when tried to extract it, it comes out a bunch of coding which I don't understand.
I followed the instruction as much as I can. but the only place I saw the D2bin.exe is in the winrar. not in the folder or anything.
Do I have to save it in my C drives?
I don't think this makes a difference right?
I'm not that familiar with com. . .

Found the bin and upgraded it but when I turn it on it's upgrading halfway and suddenly turns off by itself. I turn it on and it gives a blank white screen. .

Yah problem solved. redo everything and its fine now.

I got the white screen also, but everything seems to have gone through fine

the white screen wont happen if you follow the steps posted bellow

I followed the steps, but I think that I thought the device was off, but the lcd had only turned off.

It was only white on that step, once I copied the other two things and turned the player off and on again everything worked fine.
