Ok.. when i say attach i don't mean a man-machine interface (although that would be cool) but a simple solution to bicycle rides..
i don't want to put it in my pocket and i fear that the generic cradles won't hold it firmly enough (e.g. jumping sidewalks).
I saw the belt clip solution but i must admit i don't really like to put things on my belt.

Cowon released a clear plastic cover for the D2 and i thought of fabricating a wrist band that i can connect to the cover's back side and that will hold it in place a-la bigggg screen watch or somewhere above my elbow.

I seek your advice for ideas on how to create such a thing.
im not too keen on using velcro since it might fall.
So far i thought of two possible things:
1. Glue or otherwise attach some band to the back side of the cover. problem is i can't think of a method that will be really secure.
2. fabricate a holder with a band that has small "pockets" made of fabric that i could slide the D2 into. using ASCII as a paint tool it looks something like this:
_____[__D2__]_____
but i don't know where to start...

Your advice would be greatly appriciated.

buy a sony minidisc arm band. You wont be able to control the device but i guess just set it on random.

See the cover and armband here, but $30.67 + $7.00 shipping in the U.S. for me.

I'm still looking for alternatives

Try this.

I've got one and it works fairly well. I personally don't like silicone cases, but it sounds like what you're looking for.

The tunebelt from minidisc access fits the D2 fine. It is a neoprene armband and the D2 slides into the pouch designed for small mp3 players. I use it working out and it is fine. Can't change settings without removing the D2 but not an issue for me.
