Does anyone know how or where i can get my X5L repaired? Im basicly having problems with the headphones jack, you have to push the headphones jack into the hole very firmly in order to hear anything, so ive got half a roll of parcel tape and loads of rubber bands on it and its still not working proberly. Im in the UK as well.

Thank you, i saw your post on the site, and i cant find my warrently sheet which is out of date now anyway and my code has rubbed off, so ive decided to have ago fixing it myself. Thanks for the help.
Fredrick, did you find a repairer in the UK? My problem is that I dropped my lovely X5L yesterday with the headphone plugged in but the unit turned off. Now when I turn on everything seems to be working fine, scrolling through music and radio all work OK but there is no sound even if I use the line out on the base station. I really need to fix it.

Dropped the player and then started getting sound out of only one headphone. Took it apart as per the instuctions on this forum by Mondo, bought a cheap soldering iron (4.99 GBP), found the cracked solder on the headphone jack, soldered it together again and hey presto stereo sound again!
Pretty easy (would have to be if I can do it) so would recommend having a go if you are out of warantee (like me).
Good luck!
