**** TITLE CHANGE!: Which COWON DAP would be best for me? I'd like experienced input!

I'm currently looking into buying a COWON DAP; I want something different then the Zune, iPod, and Zen offerings that everyone has.

I'm interested in the F2, T2, U3, iAudio 6, and D2 but I'm stuck... I like them all and I can't decide! Which of the 5 are the best that fit my criteria?

* Small/Pocketable (which they all pretty much pass)
* Sound Quality (they're COWONs! [laugh] )
* Sleek/Sexy (...)
* WOW! Factor (I don't anyone has seen a COWON around where I live)

I just can't decide, they are all good and in my budget. I'd like some feed back.

The top player out of those is definitely the D2. Touchscreen, SD card slot, 52 hours of music playback, and many other features easily put it on top.

I'd like some input really on the different players; I guess the title is misleading.

For some reason, I'm attracted to the T2 and 6 (D1) the most... [confused]

I would have go with the iAudio 6, it got the most memory and is the sleeky and sexiest(mayby except for the T2). But only if you want to watch much videos i think you should go with the D2, else that big touch screen is no use. The iaudio 6 got 20h of music play, i think that is enough, and it also has USB OTG with i think is a good thing. But you should consider if you want a HDD player, if you plan to drop it on the floor and stuff, go with a flash.

And if you want a flash, but not the D2(if you dont want to wath video). I dont think that the T2 is a good choise if you looking for a good music player, the T2 is more like a desinged mp3 player with limited funktions, for example it only got 12h of music play. So i would recomend the F2, it got good battery(22h), nice design, very nice button/menu system.

So my conclusion is: Go with the iAudio 6 if you dont mind the HDD, the D2 if you want to watch much movies, the F2 if you want flash, but dont plan to wath video, and the T2 if you think that a sleeky design is more important than the music playing.

Yes, your title and also your DAP comparison is misleading.

Go with the D2, it covers everything you want, especially the WOW factor.

I have the F2 and it's great. Battery life may vary through one's settings though. I get around 21hr.

I just went through this and it is confusing with the wide range of models available.

I wanted something small and robust so that counted out the hard disk players. I then settled on a U3 until I read about the D2.

The D2 seems to do everything the U3 can do and more.

D2 has now been ordered.

I guess I'm going D2, however, I'm going to wait for the 4GB version.

Anyone know when the D2 4GB version will be available for the US (Jetmall, Newegg, etc)?

probably several weeks, I believe some UK site is selling them, just go check out the D2 section for it.

Yea, AM3, but they want it for about $300 USD [wacko].
