My D2 suddenly dies today. I was playing music and it suddenly dies. I turn that on again and it still able to do that. At that time, I managed to see that the battery is still full. After approximately 1 minute, it dies again. and this time I can't turn that on. I plug in the USB and it doesn't do anything. LCD and everything off. The same thing happen when I try to recharge it. Huh, I just got it for 2 days. .. I don't think that this player is reliable enough.. What should I do?

That is terrible! I'm sorry about that, man! [cursing]

Have you tried pushing the reset button? Sorry, that's all I can think of. [blush]

For one, you can't generalize that the player isn't reliable because you got a bad unit, which is what I think you got. This happens pretty much with any product. Just call cowon or message them up and I'm sure they'd get it fixed for you....if they can answer real time messages about people asking when the D2 4gb comes out in the states, I'm sure they'll have time to answer a REAL problem with the player.

Yeah tried the reset button, and it works.
But here is what I have found weird.(I don't understand.)
When this particular music plays, then it always dies. I tried it many times.
I did not know why. . .
File type is the same as the rest. . . Why is this so?
I really had no idea.
I tried playing it through my computer and it has no problem.

I'm so glad that the player is not completely broken! great!

You're problem seems to be extremely similar to the problem in this (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12851) thread.

I hope that helps! [biggrin]

I'm thinking it might have something to do with a faulty compression or bad id3 tags/filename....try checking those out and re-encoding it.
